8U took part in a reverse advent calendar – each day the students brought in food and/or toiletries (e.g., shampoo, cereal, tins, baked beans and chocolates) for the Wholesome Warehouse charity.
Student Flora P wanted to organise this because she felt that it was ‘unfair for people to miss out on enjoying Christmas and getting presents if they could not afford it’.
Our Tutor group enjoyed decorating the boxes and making cards. Some students were especially keen to bring in baked beans!
