Hurst Swim Team embarked on the final meet at Bedes, marking the culmination of a triumphant year. Strengthened through the Michaelmas term, the last fixture offered more students the chance to represent the team and school.
Fielding eight teams, including the U18 and U15 boys and girls 1st and 2nd teams, the meet allowed the team to diversify, placing swimmers in events they wouldn’t usually participate in. This provided additional racing opportunities for seasoned team members while fostering a supportive and enjoyable environment for everyone to race and bond.
Player of the match awards were awarded to:
Boys U18 1st | Henry H |
Boys U18 2nd | Alex L |
Girls U18 1st | Katie M |
Girls U18 2nd | Grace S |
Boys U15 1st | Zach W |
Boys U15 2nd | Ben S |
Girls U15 1st | Grace B |
Girls U15 2nd | Charlotte H |
“ All putting in great efforts for the team throughout the meet. Our next fixture will be a return to the Swimming Super league in January where the team head out to Epsom for the third round. With Hurst currently sitting 2nd in the league it all to play for going into round three. ” Stephen Murphy, Head of Senior School Swimming
