Boar’s Head Procession

One of the Hurst traditions that punctuates the academic year is the Boar’s Head Procession. Following a ritual originated at The Queen’s College, Oxford in the fourteenth century, the Hurst procession sees a boar’s head paraded around the college cloisters, followed by the choir singing the Boar’s Head Carol.

This year’s procession was not only inside the cloisters, but also outside from the Chapel to the Music School, to allow all Senior School students to line the route whilst socially distanced.
