Last Wednesday, Hurst’s Young Enterprise team, Plants with Purpose (PWP), took part in the county level competition for the Young Enterprise Company of the Year Award.
The team had to submit a full company report and four-minute filmed presentation in advance of the event. Then on the day, part of the team took part in a live remote interview with a panel of judges.
It was well worth the effort, as the team not only won the overall county title, but also the Digital Skills Award. They also found out that they won the Business Plan Award and Dragons Den Award, which they entered in January.
“ A very successful week for PWP - who now go on to the regional competition in two weeks’ time ” Jan Leeper, Head of Careers
