On Monday, our two Young Enterprise teams sent representatives to the YE Dragons’ Den event held in Horsham.
Lizzie M and Ollie H from O-live, James B and Georgie W from Phufulo delivered a three-minute presentation on their businesses. They also faced a barrage of questions from the ‘Dragons’ – made up of business professionals and members of the YE Board.
Both teams were complimented on their professional delivery, useful presentation materials, and the way in which they answered the challenging questions. The experience of presenting live, and in front of other schools competing in their region, was invaluable.
They also received helpful advice and guidance on the future development of their businesses. Both teams will take this information forward as they prepare for future sales opportunities as well as the next phase of competitions starting in May.
Members of Phufulo were pleased to learn that they had won the Best Business Plan award, submitted in December.
