Quantum biology by eminent physicist
12 Fifth and Upper Sixth students hear from well-known broadcaster at Sussex Uni
A group of 12 students, accompanied by Mr Daville, recently travelled to Sussex University to hear from eminent physicist and well-known broadcaster Jim Al-Khalili.
Forging cross-curricular links, he spoke at length about the history of quantum biology and where this is likely to lead in the future. A mixture of keen Physics students from Fifth to Upper Sixth found him engaging and the topic fascinating, although a couple noted that they would like to hear even more about the specifics of quantum physics!
This event is part of a series of public lectures held by the University of Sussex as part of their outreach programme.
