Assessing how a rider adapts to riding an unfamiliar horse, how competently they ride and their ability to deal with any horse issues that may arise. Competitors were marked in a number of areas, including their riding position, control of and affinity with the horse, and their military bearing.
After an excellent performance, Harriet scored 44 points out of a possible 50 to take first place and was presented with the Catton Salver (previously awarded to the Best Cadet Forces Competitor at the HAC Uniformed Services Show Jumping Competition).
