The Junior Prep swim team attended the Sussex round of the ESSA Primary School Relay Championship at the Pavilions in the Park, in Horsham. The teams comprised year 5 and 6 swimmers and were entered into the Boys and Girls relay events for Medley and Freestyle.
Both teams entered performed phenomenally, with the girl’s team managing to place 2nd in the Freestyle relay and place 3rd in the Medley. Unfortunately, the boys were disqualified in the Medley relay, however, they rallied to take 1st place in the Freestyle relay!
Both teams now await to hear confirmation of the results and whether they have made it through to the Regional Finals on May 13 in Guildford.
