The reception children were very excited to welcome their grandparents into school for some afternoon tea. In preparation for their visit, the children decorated flowerpots using their fingerprints to make pretty and colourful flowers as decoration. The grandparents loved their personalised presents from their grandchild.
The afternoon was filled with lots of smiles and laughter, with lots of tea and cake consumed. It was evident the children thoroughly enjoyed having their grandparents visit them at school. To round off the fun, the children sang a special superhero song to represent their ‘superhero’ grandparents. Overall, the afternoon was a great success.
