Hurst fronted two Prep schools teams for the ESSA Primary Schools Relays Regional Round. The two teams represented the school in the open boys and open girls’ categories, in the freestyle relays. Both teams swam well and managed improvements in their qualification times.
The girls’ team consisted of a mix of years 5 and 6 (Clementine L-S, Isla HS, Olivia W and Amelie P). The girls all gave it their all and achieved 9th place overall, against a very strong field of swimmers. The boys’ team also consisted of a mix of years 5 and 6 (Hunter S, Chester H, Tom C-B and Henry W-S). The boys performed incredibly well and achieved 5th place overall.
