Charlotte’s Web was this year’s Year 7 play. With over 50 students involved, it was a roaring success. The show told us the story of an unlikely friendship between a young pig named Wilbur and a spider, Charlotte.
The cast was fortunate enough to have performed in the amazing New Bury Theatre where a farmyard and barn were created out of palettes, really giving a rustic feel to the piece. The backstage crew managed the many props and accessories that came on and off during the show with professionalism and were a huge support to the onstage cast members.
Everyone worked so hard to bring the world of Charlotte’s Web to life. From the onstage stars to the heroes backstage, they should all be so proud of what they achieved.
“ It was an absolute pleasure to work with the cast on this production and I can’t wait to see all they achieve in the next year. ” Jess Dinmore, Director of Charlotte’s Web
