Hurst Chess is Back!

Four pupils from the Senior Prep School represented Hurst in the first round of the ‘Butler Cup’ Chess tournament hosted in the Prep School Library. The Chess club has been recently revived with coach Mr Callum Brewer (Sussex Coach) and the Hurst team of Jake M, Annie V, Darrah F-B and Harrison B played some excellent boards against opponents from St Andrews Eastbourne, Ardingly College and Brambletye. Some of the tight games could have swung either way; however, in the end, Hurst finished 3^rd.
