Young Enterprise Success

Each year at Hurst, Sixth Form students have the opportunity to participate in The Young Enterprise. The College team this year is called “Koudo” (rhymes with dodo) which is Japanese for luminosity. They have produced a handmade lightbox with interchangeable acrylic silhouette designs.

Last week they entered the Sussex Young Enterprise company of the year contest, held at the Amex stadium, and came away with the top prize – Company of the Year (Sussex)! The judges praised their unique product, striking branding and slick presentation.

It has not been an easy journey for the team, but they have done very well to come away with this prize and they will now be going to the regional finals in London on 23 May.
