For the past two Thursday evenings, around 40 members of the college community who live on-site have paid tribute to the NHS and key workers in a clap for carers, against a backdrop of the Chapel tower which was illuminated in blue to mark the occasion.
Last night, not only was the tower illuminated in blue but also in red as the group also recognised the armed forces and celebrated VE Day. There was a short service led by Assistant Chaplain, Rev Jonny Womak, after which the Union Jack was raised and there was the opportunity for staff members to light a candle in the chapel. The event was live-streamed for members of the Hurst community who were unable to be there.
