Harvest Festival
Now that autumn has arrived, Harvest Festival remains an important opportunity to give thanks for what we have, and to share our gifts with others. Members of the Chapel Creativity Team, Matthew G, James D and Will D, collected 13 wheelbarrows for houses in the Senior School to fill with food and toiletries.
The response was overwhelming and our students rose to the challenge as each house filled their wheelbarrows to the brim and many overflowed. The donations were presented in Chapel at our annual Harvest service last Friday and subsequently distributed to the Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath Foodbanks.
“ Both Foodbanks received the food gratefully, and they will serve those in need in our local community ” Janneke Blokland, Chaplain
