Pre-Prep pupils begin Christmas celebrations with special nativity production
There was a very special performance in Chapel on Tuesday morning as Pre-Prep pupils began the Christmas celebrations with their fabulous nativity production of A Miracle in Town.
All pupils from Reception to Year 2 had worked very hard in the run up to learn many songs and they performed them on the day with great enthusiasm. It was a complicated yet brilliantly executed Nativity, as Year 1 and Year 2 children had speaking parts for the first time. They had rehearsed their lines well and delivered them with great gusto. There were many wonderful moments throughout, but special mention must go to the fantastic narrators who worked hard to assist in the telling of the story, and to the girls who sang Such a Perfect Moment beautifully.
It was a very special occasion and one that will remain in the memories of staff, pupils and parents well beyond Christmas. Thanks to the generosity of Pre-Prep parents in giving to the retiring collection, more than £180 was raised for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.
