A group of Year 8 students was fortunate enough to visit the Houses of Parliament. It was an interesting and informative trip.
At the beginning of the trip, the students spoke with Mims Davies MP who went on to explain how MPs are elected and what jobs they do.
After the introduction, the students had a tour that included Westminster Hall, the Chapel, the Houses of Commons, and the Houses of Lords, where the students watched the end of a live debate from the gallery.
The students learned interesting facts about the history of the buildings and the employees who currently and used to work there.
