Last week, Year 1 visited the Sealife Centre in Brighton and had a wonderful time looking at all the sea creatures. The children took part in a workshop about habitats and had fun designing their own sea creatures such as a starfish-shark or an octopus-shark. After this, the pupils explored the aquarium with their teachers, watch the turtles being fed, and even got to stroke a starfish!
After their visit, they took a trip to Brighton Beach for a picnic lunch, followed by more educational activities including looking for physical and human geographical features and writing their parents a postcard!
