Group of Fifth and Upper Sixth students enjoy annual Spanish trip
A group of Fifth and Upper Sixth students enjoyed an action-packed few days on the annual Spanish trip to the city of Valladolid – a small, friendly town north of Madrid.
Spanish lessons took place in the mornings, with different trips and activities in the afternoon, including visits to the famous university town of Salamanca and to the beautiful Segovia, with its stunning Roman aqueduct. Students also sampled a variety of Spanish dishes on a fabulous tapas tour and even had the chance to make a tortilla (Spanish omelette).
“The trip provided students with a great opportunity to improve their Spanish, with lessons taught in small groups by highly experienced native teachers. It also gave them the chance to explore the culture and history of Spain, and to find out more about the Spanish way of life,” Hannah Prescott, Head of Spanish.
