Book Week

This year’s Book Week was dedicated to the celebration of poetry, and the children in Years 3 – 6 enjoyed a visit from popular poet and author, A. F. Harrold.  

A day of fun and laughter was had in the library and many of the children chose to purchase a book of poems which Ashley kindly signed for them. 

 Later in the week, a competition was held, in which the children were encouraged to write a poem based on a book they had enjoyed.A display of the fabulous poems written has now been created outside the library.
