The reception class celebrated Chinese New Year in some style.
They spent the week learning the origins of the celebration and how people celebrate it. The children also made lanterns, Chinese dragons and learned how to do some Chinese writing. During the week they performed their Chinese Dragon dance in the playground and then had an extremely tasty Chinese banquet, with noodles they made themselves. They even ate them with chopsticks!
