Cuckfield Book Festival, of which the college is a proud sponsor, continues to grow in popularity and make a name for itself on the literary festival circuit.
This year, the festival ran a poetry competition for young poets, the from Reception to Year 6 around the theme of the environment. The competition was sponsored by author, comedian, and TV presenter Mel Giedroyc. Hurst Prep sent in a few entries and were absolutely delighted that Ciara O was named a category winner. Ciara’s poem is below.
