Twelve students took part in the first Tabletop Gaming weekend at Hurst, which was hailed as a resounding success.
The college is trialling a scheme to allow students with an interest in all aspects of miniatures, role playing games and board games, a space and time to enjoy their hobby on a Saturday.
The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended, as well as drawing interest and engagement from the prospective students and their families who were visiting the college at the same time.
“ It is great to see the extension of opportunities provided to our students, which allows them to expand their interests past the traditional weekend sport ” Oliver Pocknell, Teacher of Physics
