History brought to life for Year 2 pupils
History was brought to life when Samuel Pepys visited Year 2 pupils. The children were able to experience for themselves what it would have been like to witness the Great Fire of London by acting out the story from the moment the fire started in the bakery to putting the fire out by creating a water chain. Their immersion into this famous event helped them to write their own diary entries and gain a real sense of what it would have been like to live through such an historic event.
