On March 11, a team from Hurst won gold at this year’s Senior Team Independent School Climbing Championships (ISCC) at the White Spider, Tolworth.
With 20 schools and over 200 competitors in attendance, the Hurst team were up against fierce competition which included exceptional climbers from the likes of Eton, Highgate, Wellington, Seaford, and Epsom.
Event categories included bouldering, top-rope, and lead climbing against strong competition, creating a rather gripping final. Representing Hurst at this year’s competition were Harry, Andreas, Lysander, Cam, Jasper, and Masha, with the Senior Team taking the win, and Jasper and Masha placing first in the Individual categories.
