March 20 saw the Independent Schools Climbing Championships (ISCC) at the Parthian Climbing Centre, Reading. 20 schools and over 200 competitors attended ISCC 2023 in the U18 and U16 categories. 7 pupils from Hurst participated and all gave a strong performance on the day despite being underpowered due to injury and illness. The climbers were brilliant and enjoyed the mix of lead and boulder with challenging routes.
Well done to Hurst for qualifying in the top 5 schools overall. And a special well done to Masha S for winning gold and Rohan A for winning Silver in their individual categories.
