Year 5 pupils visit Synagogue
On Tuesday, Year 5 pupils visited a Synagogue to bring a real life feel to their study of Judaism this term.
The pupils were allocated a guide who made their trip extremely interesting and allowed them to unveil the Torah scrolls as well as blow the shofar (an ancient musical horn).
“This trip really brought to life our study of the Jewish religion and our pupils truly enjoyed the experience,” Martin Clay, Head of Religion, Ethics, Philosophy Years 3-8.
