Welcome to the Junior Prep School

Welcome to our Junior Prep School at Hurst College.

The Junior Prep School caters for children from the age of four (Reception) to 11 (Year 6), prior to moving up to the Senior Prep School for Years 7 and 8.

Childhood is precious and we have a responsibility to make our childrens’ time at school as special as possible. As such, we aim to nurture every pupil so that they flourish and make the most of every opportunity to learn and grow.

Hurst is a happy, vibrant and welcoming community. Our ethos is embodied by the core values of Work Hard, Do Good and Engage – indeed, this is embedded in everything that we do. We are ambitious for every pupil to achieve their full potential, to do this we foster much of their learning by igniting their imagination, promoting a sense of exploration and discovery of the world around them.

Our children share the outstanding facilities on the College campus – such as the new theatre and sports facilities – which not only enhance the children’s learning but provide a wealth of opportunities for even our youngest pupils.
