Reception – Year 2 Nativity
Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 gave a fantastic performance of ‘Born in a Barn’ this year, with the story being told from the animals’ point of view. The Year 2 children impressed with their expressive narration of the nativity story, and the Year 1 and Reception classes sparkled and sung as shepherds and angels. The children all enjoyed performing in the Chapel, which was decorated with a festive tree and lights for the occasion.
Year 3 and 4 Nativity
With the gentle notes of ‘Prince of Peace’ echoing around the Chapel, alongside the rousing chorus of the ‘Nightwatchers’, this year’s nativity told the traditional story of the birth of Jesus through a whole range of songs and solos. The pupils sang with an energy and excitement fit for a newborn king as the tableau unfolded, and Mary and Joseph were guided to the stable to be met by the Wise Men.
