Once again, Pre-Prep pupils took part in the annual NSPCC Number Day.
Each group, with children from Reception to Year 2, had the opportunity to visit five different classrooms, each with a specific theme – Number, Shape, Problem Solving, Calculation and Counting. The pupils all had great fun achieving their target of completing a total of 20 games and activities such as playing ‘Guess my number’, making 3D shapes out of Polydron and Playdough, estimating how many triangles you could make from a square and playing a variety of card games. They were very proud to take their completed score cards home at the end of the day.
“ We would like to thank parents for their continued generosity in supporting this event, which raised over £650 for such a worthy cause ” Lauren Johnson, Year 2 Teacher/Head of Key Stage One Literacy and Mathematics
