In November, the Reception class visited Wakehurst Place. While there, they encountered a real Green Fairy who guided them, imparting knowledge about trees, leaves, and Autumn plant transformations. The children gathered natural materials to craft Autumn crowns and wands. Using their wands, they magically shrunk the Green Fairy, allowing her to perch on Mrs. Pearson’s hand for a photo. In the afternoon, they utilised natural materials to construct elaborate fairy houses, featuring libraries, swimming pools, and cozy leaf beds. Unfortunately, the pupils had to say their goodbyes to the Green Fairy, but the class had a truly magical day.
