First steps in ‘big’ school for reception pupils as they experience activities in and beyond the classroom
Reception pupils took their first steps into ‘big’ school last week.
The year group has settled remarkably well, impressing the teachers with their confidence, whilst interacting with classmates and teachers. Despite being the first week of term, new friendships have already started to form.
In the classroom, pupils have enjoyed music, drama, physical education, and dance lessons. Beyond the classroom, they have already had their first taste of the Woodland School and are looking forward to swimming lessons which start soon. These and other activities will help to expand the variety of sensory experiences for our youngest pupils.
