Redpoint Worcester climbing competition
Last Friday, the climbing team travelled to Redpoint Worcester for the annual Independent Schools Climbing Competition, returning with two medals.
Hosted by Brendon School, this regional event attracted more than 21 schools. There was an intermediate category for bouldering and top rope as well as an advanced category for bouldering and lead climbing. As expected, the routes were challenging, but our climbers held their own as Marsha took gold in the intermediate category and Felix a silver medal in the advanced category. The junior boys’ team of Jasper and Harry both achieved top 10 places in the intermediate section, proving their strength against students two years older.
