The girls’ first cricket team was invited to attend the Seaford College Cricket Festival at the end of term.
As rain shortened the first day, the girls travelled to Seaford in the afternoon to play a T20 match. They produced a great effort, losing by just 13 runs. On the second day they played three matches – a T20 in the morning followed by two T10s in the afternoon – when they won all three.
This was a new format for the girls, and they adapted to it brilliantly. They showed energy, passion, and enthusiasm throughout the event.
