Lower Sixth DT students visit the Amex and Lord’s

The Lower Sixth Design and Technology students visited the Amex Community Stadium and Lord’s Cricket Ground to find inspiration for their pavilion stadium projects, as well as looking at their facilities, architecture and construction.  

The Headmaster provided the group with a brief to design and model a new sports pavilion for Hurst.  Over the coming months they will develop their design ready for a presentation evening in the Lent term.  They also visited a high-end interior design company in London called Ideaworks to look at new technologies that can be used to furnish their sports pavilion.
