On Tuesday afternoons, when all Senior School students take part in the CCF or Community Service, a select group of Lower Sixth Formers are working towards their level 3 UK Sports Leader qualification.
As part of this nationally-recognised qualification, our Sports Leaders have chosen to organise and run two sports events in partnership with the Pre-Prep. One took place yesterday afternoon and the other will take place next Tuesday. The aim of these Mini Olympics is for Pre-Prep pupils to have a fun learning experience and sample a variety of activities including target games, relays, space hoppers and cricket.
“ This event is a highlight of the programme and one we will look forward to for years to come. The Pre-Prep pupils were as brilliant as ever and their energy was infectious. Our Sports Leaders were commended for their organisation, communication, creativity and management ” Simon Lilley, Teacher of PE
