The girls of Mighty Martlet house set their alarms for 5.45am on the last day of half term to embark on a 4k run to raise money for the Turkey and Syria Earthquake appeal.
This was a fantastic charity event which was initiated in less than 24 hours, as the girls felt they had to do something to help with such a heart-breaking disaster. There was a turnout of 30 girls, tutors, staff and dogs – complete with head torches – to raise money for the appeal and the atmosphere was excellent. An amazing total of £1650 was raised!
