Over the weekend, 20 Remove boys travelled to Langley School, Norwich, for the Langley U15 Rugby Festival.
With teams such as Merchiston Castle from Edinburgh, RGS Newcastle and Bedford not only was it a wide mix of teams but also a high calibre competition. Langley School became home for two days, and they were excellent hosts.
On day one, Hurst narrowly lost to RGS and then beat Langley, John Fisher and Bedford to finish third in the group, onpoints difference. With spirits high on day two, the boys set about winning the bowl competition and played some excellent rugby against strong Trinity and Dulwich sides. They had opportunities in the last play of both games to win, however just missed out 10-14 and 5-7 respectively.
