Year 1 had a fantastic time visiting the Sealife Centre in Brighton, where they enjoyed looking at all the sea creatures and even got to tickle a starfish!
They enjoyed a workshop about the different habitats that sea creatures live in, and how they adapt to their surroundings. They even designed their own sea creature with superpowers! After their fascinating workshop, the pupils explored the aquarium with their teachers.
Stopping for lunch, Year 1 had a picnic on the beach, followed by some fieldwork which involved identifying human and physical features that they could see all around them.
