The Year 3 and 4 pupils put on a fantastic show for their Lent Term informal concert, with this being a very first performance to a live audience for some. 17 very brave young musicians showed great courage to get up on stage and took this brilliant opportunity to share the amazing musical work they have been practicing in front of a supportive audience of family, friends and teachers.
Years 3 and 4 provided a sizeable programme of music and consisted of Elizabeth on violin, Daisy-May singing, and Georgina on the drums before a series of piano performances by Jessica, Sophia, Matilda, Thomas, Georgia, Molly, Florence, Alexa and Polina. Lily then sung beautifully for all to hear before duo Daisy and Everett performed on the piano. Oscar then performed on the guitar before Guy rounded out the performances at the piano.
It was brilliant to see so many pupils keen to perform and share their pieces with an audience, some doing so for the first time in public. We would like to thank each of them for doing so and wish them the best of luck with all their future musical pursuits.
“ We look forward to hearing much more from them in the future as they continue on their musical journeys. We would also like to thank everyone who came along to support and hear the performers, this makes all the difference to concerts like these and make special memories for those performing. ” Kate Bray, Teacher of Music
