This year, the Year 8 production was The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Although there was no live audience, the performers still pulled out all the stops delivering some truly fantastic performances.
It is impossible to highlight individuals. From the brave children entering the world of Narnia, to the White Witch, Aslan and creatures they met there, each performer created a memorable character to help bring the magic to life. It really was an ensemble piece with the whole year group involved as performers, backstage or running the technical aspect. Each pupil took ownership of their production element. From the dancers who choreographed their own routine to the backstage crew who ensured every transition was seamless.
Due to some roles being double cast, two performances were filmed.
“ I know how excited everyone was to see their hard work come to life. It really was a superb and truly memorable way for Year 8s to end their time in the Prep School ” Rose Hall-Smith, Head of Prep Drama
